Empowering

Seeking to inspire and empower youth, BRACE hosts a variety of programs that aim to provide youth with the support and skill to succeed. Among the activities are youth groups, college readiness mentorship, vocational skill building, civic engagement activities such as volunteer campaigns, and youth competitions.

Protecting

As individuals aware of the situation and conditions, we provide consulting services on organizational safe-guarding policies, help enhance the cultural and situational sensitivity to fit Syria.

BRACE also consults and periodically releases reports on related to the conditions of Syrian youth.

Caring.

BRACE aims to provide a safe space for children to interact and express themselves. In order to provide such a space, BRACE hosts art workshops and discussion circles.

Additionally, BRACE refers children to psycho-social support services within the area.

Dreaming.

BRACE is looking to develop both a children’s magazine and video program for Syrian children. The topics will revolve around the specific issue pertaining to them and ways to overcome. Programming will be hope inspired, encouraging youth to dream of a better future for their country, family, and themselves.

Healing.

To assist in the health efforts, BRACE has a special focus on public health awareness activities. These activities revolve around methods children can health themselves through food and wellness. Activities include awareness raising campaigns and workshops on lifestyle.

Supporting.

Given the conditions of war and the urgent need, BRACE keeps a emergency assistance fund that is flexible and responds to the most priority cases first.
